The Australian College of Kahuna Sciences
accreditations provide a benchmark for professionalism in Kahuna
Bodywork.
This vocational training enables students to work
in the health services sector, performing an ancient Hawaiian
style of massage/bodywork that is rapidly gaining tremendous
popularity in distinguished spa salons.
As part of a study tour, international students
are welcome to attend short 1 - 2 week Kahuna exercise courses
that provide an introduction to work in the health industry and
lead to a statement of attainment.

A unique career in Kahuna Bodywork
Campus location
The full time courses for
international students are taught at our Robina campus on the
Gold Coast, in a quiet area close to great shopping facilities
and not far from Australia’s
best surfing beaches.
Bond University with its Olympic size pool and great gym facilities
is only a few minutes away.
The classrooms in our homely Queensland style building are airy
and get lots of natural light. Students are encouraged to make
use of the large verandahs and the swimming pool in their breaks.
Kahuna Bodywork Training
Kahuna Bodywork is a dignified massage modality
based on Ancient Hawaiian Kahuna Arts, but it is new to the complementary
Health Industry in the Western World.
Australia is the first
country in the World to have an accredited course in Kahuna
Sciences Bodywork, initiated by a Hawaiian Kahuna (Kanaka Maoli),
Kahu Abraham Kawai’i.
Kahuna Bodywork starts
with the Kahuna Exercise Art form Ka’alele
au (Flight of the Navigator) to teach the use
of motion, focus, posture, positioning and leverage.
Ka’alele au with
its controlled and focused movements in various speeds looks
similar to Tai Chi Chuan, and is an ancient spiritual dance/movement,
the art of non verbal communication with all things. Skills
learned are useful in all life.
Kahuna Training is a journey that facilitates expansion of awareness
of yourself and others.
The training will increase your fitness and understanding
of yourself, your genetic family.
